Rest and Remember: a Yoga and cultural retreat in Ghana (September 15-20, 2025)
Join us September 15–20, 2025, for six days and five nights of deep healing and connection through Yoga, cultural exploration, and shared reflection in Ghana—a land rich in history, resilience, and living wisdom.
Led by Eunice Busby, who partners with local businesses and artisans to create thoughtfully curated tours through Ghana and Itzel Hayward, a Insight Timer Yoga and meditation teacher with nearly 30 years of practice rooted in tradition and collective care, this experience blends twice-daily Yoga with visits to historic sites, nourishing meals, and spacious time for rest, community, and transformation.
This retreat is not about wellness tourism. It is an invitation into historical immersion, cultural exchange, ancestral remembrance, and deep healing—personal, collective, and cultural. While it centers Black diasporic experiences and histories, it also warmly welcomes all participants—regardless of background—who come with openness, respect, and a sincere desire to deepen their understanding of themselves, of history, and of the world.
All meals, lodging, ground transportation, excursions, and a beautifully curated gift bag featuring handmade Ghanaian items are included.
Refund terms and conditions: We know life can be unpredictable. If you need to cancel, you'll receive a full refund (minus Insight Timer’s 10% fee) if you cancel 30 or more days before the retreat. For cancellations made 15–29 days prior, we offer a 50% refund. Within 14 days, we’re unable to offer refunds, but we’ll do our best to provide a credit toward a future tour or retreat when possible.
