Tools for Personal Transformation
For me, Yoga is more than a physical practice: it's an invitation to discover who you truly are. I don't have words to describe what that is—rather, it's something that has to be experienced. Even calling it "something" is not quite right... because it's no "thing."
When asked to label this no "thing" that you are (and that I am and that we all are), I sometimes call it presence. And each Yoga class I lead—which includes gentle movement, breathing practices, deep relaxation, and meditation—is offered as an opportunity to fully embrace the present moment experience.

Reiki is a healing therapy developed by Dr. Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1920s. During a Reiki session you sit or lie down in a comfortable position as I place my hands just above or lightly on your clothed body, moving through a slow progression of hand positions.
Reiki has no religious doctrine—I’ve shared it with people from all backgrounds and belief systems. My specialities include Reiki for spiritual transformation, relief from anxiety, and end-of-life care.

Meditation & Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the state of awareness or specific way of living that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally. Put simply, it's focusing all of your attention on the one thing that you are doing.
You can practice living mindfully. And you can engage in other practices that allow you to cultivate a sense of deep awareness to the present moment. Meditation is one such practice.
By simply cultivating an ability to embrace the present moment experience, we gain numerous physical, mental, emotional, and even spiritual benefits—this includes the sense that we're not separate from each other but rather deeply interconnected. This expansive state of consciousness can be realized through a dedicated meditation practice.
